Comments through contact form are welcome. If you wish to offer perspectives or opinions on issues, I want to clarify that your comments or perspectives are then part of a record I may or may not publish....good or bad, right or wrong. I am working on getting some issues placed on a blog related to each of the three websites.
This and the two other related websites are essentially my notebook of collected information and ideas and writings on my ideas and journey through American realities and shifts through politics and Christianity. My embrace of Christian perspectives has been of utmost significance to search for cultural significance in a world that has changed so very much since I left my teens and moved into adulthood. I have left some older articles and perspectives (though I have trashed some before considering that I should have kept them as just a record of ideas I once carried and then dumped through just simple growing up).
My bio has been started below and will be updated as time permits. |
BIO
I am Zorek Richards, a longtime writer and interest in cultural apologetics after becoming a Christian in my late teens/early 20s. Politically, when I first became eligible to vote, I registered as a Democrat. With the election of Ronald Reagan and the beginning of Christians aligning themselves with the Republican Party I was talked out of being a Democrat (and short volunteer service in the office of Sen Tom Daschle's Rapid City office) to align with the new right wing battles against abortion and what seemed like the way "God was moving Christians" to battle. I was an anti-abortion activist in the Rapid City, South Dakota area for about a decade, working with Right to Life and Christian Action Council. I exited South Dakota in the early 90s for Colorado Springs and then Aurora, Colorado. I then moved to Omaha, Nebraska attend Omaha Bible School, still maintaining by right wing views on most all issues. From there to Independence, Missouri to Merriam, Kansas then to Wamego, Kansas, then to Picayune, Mississippi. I still maintained my right wing political perspectives (anti-abortion..and pro-Republican, anti-gay, pushing the Tea Party and opining about the RINOS in the GOP, etc etc etc).
In about 2018 to 2020, through prayer and a lot of mental investment into Biblical study and weighing basic reality....I left the GOP. It was quite a radical metamorphosis but made sense as I pursued my interest in cultural apologetics. I have not became a Democrat but, since the dawning of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, have become very anti GOP. .....to be continued as time allows.
