For the first time, a majority of Americans dying from the coronavirus received at least the primary series of the vaccine.
Fifty-eight percent of coronavirus deaths in August were people who were vaccinated or boosted, according to an analysis conducted for The Washington Post’s Health 202 newsletter by Cynthia Cox, vice president at the Kaiser Family Foundation.
It’s a continuation of a troubling trend that has emerged over the past year. As vaccination rates have increased and new variants appeared, the share of deaths of people who were vaccinated has been steadily rising. In September 2021, vaccinated people made up just 23% of coronavirus fatalities. In January and February this year, it was up to 42%, per our colleagues Fenit Nirappil and Dan Keating.
“We can no longer say this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” Cox told The Washington Post.

Christopher Key, leader of the anti-vaccine organization Vaccine Police, extolled the virtues of “urine therapy” to his followers in a video posted on his Telegram account and seen by The Daily Beast. He claimed that piss can help cure COVID and is actually more effective than the vaccine.

When they report what officials say...that is the end of the news. Everything after that is usually cross talk bloviating. If we had the internet and dozens of news choices in 1918..more people would have died and ended terribly....and a lot of people who are alive now would not be because their ancestry would have stopped at 1918 or thereabouts.

This would overwhelm the health care system in his state. He adds that this is not a realistic solution. According to a write-up in Mayo, without a vaccine, about 70 percent of the population needs to be infected for herd immunity.
For Arizona, 70 percent would mean about 5 million more cases. With our current death rate of about 2 percent, more than 97,000 additional deaths would occur to gain herd immunity. As for Fountain Hills, approximately 17,500 would be infected, resulting in about 350 deaths. Currently, about 72 percent of Arizona deaths are people over 65.

Sheep are extremely intelligent animals capable of problem solving (or so I have read) but in the context that the author of the comment above indicated she/he meant it as someone who just stupidly follows. There's nothing wrong with being a "sheep" IF you "study the subject, verify & consider your sources, look at the data and then make a decision accordingly. Jesus referred to His followers as sheep and preached several parables likewise. Most disciples of Jesus considered the available information (scripture, etc.) and acted accordingly to follow.
