Jon Gleason is  the minister of Free Baptist Church of Glenrothes.He  grew up in Portland, Oregon, USA, became a Christian through faith in Christ at an early age, and attended a Christian elementary school and high school. He began his university education studying chemistry and physics, but changed to divinity training, and continued on to complete a graduate seminary program. He is an ordained minister, and served as an associate pastor in two Baptist churches in Scotland, where he has lived since 1995.  In January 2000, he became the founding pastor of Free Baptist Church.
