Retired, longtime U.S. Congressman Fred Upton (R-St. Joseph) received an honorary degree from Western Michigan University Saturday.
Upton, who spent 18 terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, did not run for re-election in 2022 as a result the U.S. Congressional districts being redrawn.
