ISSUES
Relativism
We live in an age of deep ideological and moral conflict, not only in politics but in social and political theory. Whatever might be one’s own convictions about the ultimate truth of the matter, it is not one on which all reasonable citizens will converge: as far as public moral reasoning goes, there are a number of reasonable ways of ordering social and political institutions. Each is convinced that his political views represent the truth, but to your neighbor they are errors. In the midst of this, mainstream political philosophy continues to spin out endless rationalizations of the theorist’s ideological convictions. What truly flummoxes contemporary political philosophy is how to seriously and productively theorize about a deeply morally diverse society. Given that this is a defining feature of our time, it is hard to overestimate how devastating a failure this is. --Gerald Gaus
Second Amendment
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." --Second Amendment
Background checks came about through case law, and though I am not saying I am totally opposed to some background checks (limited), I am saying that such checks are in effect basically asking the government for permission to own a gun. No one should have to ask permission from the government to do anything that is supposed to be Constitutionally protected. Obama's action today is just more encroachment from the Federal government against basic rights. His action to "hire" more agents enlarges the government even more. My negative view of larger government isn't based on any partisan platform, but practicality. Historically, the larger a government becomes the more ineffectual it becomes and it becomes more corrupt as it is unable to police itself. That problem has been there since Adam and will continue as long as man lives connected to that heritage..or, in short, the end of time.
A great deal of case law is Constitutional over reach. A Constitutional Convention may address some issues, but what really needs to be done is a major purging of SCOTUS case law, in which most was created based on the whims and emotion of the day, rather then the Constitution itself. However, there's a 99.9% chance that will never happen because of the power, it gives to attorneys and lawyers and places judges in "high" places. --Zorek Richards 01.05.16

Race
"We have voices about which life matters. All life is created in the image of God. All lives matter. However, underneath the banner that God has created all people in his image, there are inequities that must be addressed. For example, the life of the unborn matters. And so there is this emphasis on injustice in the womb. But that injustice in the womb must be under the umbrella that all life matters. Black lives matter, as a subset of all lives matter. So any injustices to a particular group must be addressed specific to that group but under the banner that all life is created in the image of God…
Once you extract any specific scenario and remove it from the umbrella of God’s creation, you create your own independent cause. There is no discussion of sociology that, at least from a Christian point of view, shouldn’t be plugged into theology; that is God’s view of it…
…It is technically incorrect, technically, to call yourself a “black Christian,” or a “white Christian,” or a “Hispanic Christian.” Then you make your color or culture an adjective. It’s the job of the adjective to modify the noun. If you put Christianity in the noun position and your color or culture in the adjective position you have to keep shaping the noun so it looks like the adjective that describes it. So if your color stays in the adjectival position you got to keep shaping Christianity to look black or to look white or to look red…" --Tony Evans 07.17.16

Paedophiles
If child sex dolls function as advocates claim, they will maintain paedophiles’ sexual urges for children. Rather than encouraging restraint or investing energy into pursuing healthier relationships or sexual practices, child sex dolls enable the realistic fantasy experience of sexually abusing a child.
Child sex dolls and robots do not offer a solution to child sexual abuse. Rather, they detract from meaningful attempts to address an epidemic of child abuse and obscure the cultural drivers that contribute to it, such as male power and the sexualisation of girls. If ending child sexual exploitation is the objective, the answer will never be found in legitimising these practices.
